TIRE REPAIR
Tire problems? The guys at D&E have the tools and the know-how to repair your flat or bad tire. Service includes removal of tire from rim, inspection, liner repair, puncture fill, remounting and balancing.

If you’ve run over a nail, screw, glass or other common road debris, and have a punctured or flat tire, we may be able to repair it with a plug or patch and save you the extra cost of a new set of tires.
Our experts make sure your tire repair job is done right and that your newly-repaired tire is completely safe to drive on, allowing you to get back on the road with total confidence.
TIRE ROTATION & BALANCING
When your tires are rotated, the wheels are removed and replaced from front to back, right to left. When they are balanced, a mechanic uses a special machine to check to see if the weight of the tire and wheel is balanced.

Tire balancing is a tune-up for your wheel-tire set. It makes sure that weight is evenly distributed around the entire circumference of the unit.
The common symptoms of out-of-balance tires are uneven and faster tread wear, poor fuel economy, and vibration in the steering wheel, the floorboard or the seat that gets worse at faster speeds.

When all areas of the wheel-tire unit are as equal in weight as possible, the tire will roll smoothly. This helps it wear evenly, for longest life. Balancing also contributes to ride comfort: Imbalanced tires will wobble or hop up and down, which causes vibration. If a front tire isn’t properly balanced you’ll likely feel vibration in the steering wheel. If the problem is in the rear the tremor will be noticeable in the seat or floor.

Imbalanced tires are easily corrected, but the work is precise. It’s done by attaching small weights, just fractions of ounces to the wheel.
​
Rotating tires every 6 months or 5000 miles will help them wear more evenly and last longer.

WHEEL ALIGNMENT
Proper wheel alignment is an important part of your vehicle’s regular maintenance. Without proper alignment, tires will wear much faster and end up costing unneccessary money to replace. BATTERY
At D&E we can check and replace your battery and check your charging system to make sure everything is working right and keep your car cranking and running properly.
WIPERS BLADES
Wiper blades help keep your windshield clean and clear of debris so you can see the road in front of you. It’s good to have them checked at the beginning of each season. The weather can do a number on them and there is nothing worse then being in a rain storm with wipers that don’t wipe away the rain effectively, or streak! We can install them on your vehicle.
